People sit on the chair. Don’t sit on the table. Why? Frankly speaking people do sit on the table quite often. When sitting the table people feel comfortable. Because most of table’s height is around 700mm. 700mm means table’s height and stool’s height is the same. Actually tables have more wide surfaces to sit compared with a stool. So don’t impose to people don’t sit on the table.

Essential factor of light is adjust. There are few ways to adjust light. Most common one is to adjust light illuminance to control amount of electricity. I like the simple way. I designed this light like that way. Just adjust light height location. I use PVC pipe for lampshade. PVC pipe is frosted so makes good mood.

Autonomy art space ‘PaLeTTe’ is made by four Industrial design major students at Yonsei university. One of them is me. We planed to reborn dead space for Yonsei people. The place is behind of Chungsongkan. This building includes design and humanities major. So we build up a concept to use it as an art space for students. It was hot summer. This project is still ongoing.

Bamboo is already a cylindrical shape. It means if using bamboo for a cylindrical shape product, it can be reduced of manufacture process. Also the product will be eco friendly. Bamboo has joints. Each joint can be a module. I designed module which have different 5 features. User can join each joints. If user wants to light feature joint 2000/5000mm user can make light partition. If user want frame partition, of course this can be frame partition. Just join each joint.

LED have linearity feature it makes
stress to human’s eye. I changed this
bad feature of LED with acrylic. The
cutting surface of acrylic have low
penetrability. This surface chang LED’s
linearity feature to subdued.
